A minute every other day for posting a drawing on tumblr, 5-10 minutes if I'm using linkedin or glassdoor. I also browse twitter, instagram, and pinterest for 5-30 minutes every now and then.

Email, reading feeds, twitter, tumblr, linkedin, glassdoor

Yes
Are you familiar with FourSquare or the 'check-in' functions on Facebook?
Yes
How often do you go on business trips by yourself?
I have the option of going once a year to a design conference.
How long are these business trips?
3 days
What are some things you dislike about solo business traveling?
The potential of having to travel with some of my coworkers and not having downtime or the ability to network. Eating alone. Leaving my partner at home. Not having time to explore a new city on my own because my schedule is too tight. The possibility of having to go somewhere without the convenience of public transport. Filing lengthy expense reports.
Is expanding your business network important to you?
Yes
How willing are you to meet new business professionals for leisure activities while traveling? Why or why not?
Yes, if they are willing to talk to me. I'm concerned that no one wants to meet with me because my position is junior. I would also worry about personal safety if I am traveling by myself in a city I'm not familiar with.
If you are willing to meet new business professionals, are you more apt to have them approach you or you to approach them? Why?
I think I would prefer to have some one to approach me. I'm at the bottom of the visual design food chain, so I assume that it would be rare for some one to want to take time out to meet me.
If there was an app that allowed you to meet business professional for leisure activities, how interested would you be in using it?
I would be interested. I think it would be great for meals.

At GE I use the computer to do daily work, analyzing data.
When I’m at home I usually use my laptop to go online, so Facebook or
ESPN mostly. I use it to send emails a lot, too. Sometimes I shop, usually on
Amazon.
3. What percent would you guess you use a computer for social media?
Probably something like 30%
4. What do you usually your mobile for? E.g., email, phone calls, games, etc.
Mostly texting and Twitter, really, and some other social media like
Facebook. I check my emails during the day, too.

I’ve never used FourSquare. I use the Facebook Check-In sometimes

I usually go with one of my bosses, but they’re all older, so I don’t
hang out with them much. So I guess it gets pretty boring. I don’t really go
out or anything, just stay in my [hotel] room. Sometimes I walk around, depends
where I’m at.

I guess kind of. I like meeting new people, and I guess I could cross
paths with again in the future, so it’s good to have that network.

I don’t know, that might be cool I guess. I feel like it’d be kind of

or who it is.
