Usability

For usability testing, we had really good constructive feedback that was consistent throughout the test subjects. I believe this enabled us to focus on our weak areas and figure out ways to strengthen them.



KEY FEEDBACKS
This is our profile page.  The gray icons refer to the descriptive links above the icons which seemed to cause a lot of confusion for the users. They were unsure on whether to click on the descriptive links or on the icons themselves. This is something that we will be sure to address in the design process.

Our test subjects also expressed a desire for venue profile pages so that they aren't forced to go outside the app in order to seek information about a venue's phone number, address and statistical information. We did not consider having a profile page for the venues because we had theorized that users would want to go to the venue's official website to access additional information. We had planned on routing them externally to get to the official website, but users' desires to stay within the app makes us consider alternative ways to satisfy that desire.

We also had a few users ask about LinkedIn and why we were currently not using it as a way for users to easily subscribe to Linked2. As this is a recurring feedback amongst the users and our classmates, we will be sure to incorporate LinkedIn for our final product.

A couple of the test subjects also found discord with our use of 'friends' to signify professional contacts. They felt the term was too familiar and connoted a level of intimacy that shouldn't exist for professional contacts.

Overall, the usability provided some really salient points to consider for our final product.
